Years in the making
A full transformation of the property, start to finish.
River Valley Ranch is the vision of Broc & Kendra Brimhall — lifelong adventurers who set out to build a private outdoor paradise for their family, and then opened it to everyone else.
Avid outdoorsmen and lifelong adventurers, Broc and Kendra Brimhall call Anchorage, Alaska home — and have traveled and hunted throughout the world, developing a deep appreciation for wild places, beautiful country, and the experiences that bring family and friends together.

Years ago, Broc came to Oklahoma and immediately fell in love with the people, the landscape, and the character of the area. He envisioned a place of his own — a private outdoor paradise where his family could escape, explore, and make memories for generations.
But from the beginning, the vision was bigger than a family retreat. Broc and Kendra wanted to create a place that could be shared: with friends, with guests, and with clients from around the country.
Bringing that vision to life became a five-year transformation of the property — every aspect developed to preserve its natural character while creating an exceptional outdoor experience.
Hunting was one of the original inspirations, but the Brimhalls wanted River Valley Ranch to offer much more. Today it’s hunting, fishing, hiking, ATV riding — and simply escaping into the outdoors. An intimate weekend getaway, an unforgettable hunting retreat, a gathering of family and friends, or the setting for a truly extraordinary wedding. The ranch is all of them.

Native whitetail through premium exotics.
Across the lodge and the shop.
The ranch runs along it — genuinely water-rich country.
With its lodge, expansive shop, two private lakes, diverse terrain, and a spectacular setting along the South Canadian River, River Valley Ranch is difficult to describe until you experience it firsthand.
It is more than a ranch.
It is the realization of a vision.
Decades of hunts across the West, the far North, and around the world stand behind this ranch — including a 289″ non-typical mule deer taken on a coveted Arizona Strip Governor’s tag (2016), and a 358″ archery bull elk from Arizona.
We cite only verified trophies, never approximate a record — additional record-book entries to confirm with Broc. These are the Brimhalls’ own hunts around the world, not hunts at River Valley Ranch.

His best trophies — world exotics included — are on display where guests actually spend their time: through the main lodge and in the shop alongside the guest rooms. You're surrounded by the founder's record for your whole stay.
For the Brimhalls, the ranch grew out of something older than any business — a passion shared across the whole family. Kendra is a hunter in her own right, with hard-won trophies of her own — among them a giant red stag taken in New Zealand — and the two of them have hunted side by side from the American West to the far North to the far side of the world.
It doesn’t stop with the two of them. The kids hunt too. This is a family that packs into camp together, glasses together, and sits around the same fire afterward — and that is exactly what Broc set out to build here: not a business with a family attached, but a place where his family could be together outdoors, and make memories for generations.
That thread runs through the whole operation. Even the herd is a family affair — ranch manager Chris Ezell works it alongside his own son, Dakoda. River Valley Ranch is the place the Brimhalls built to keep their tradition alive, and to hand the same weekend to families like yours.
Species and location for the moose photo still to confirm with the Brimhalls.

Nearly two decades in the whitetail deer industry, and a reputation built across Oklahoma and around the country for producing and managing outstanding deer — with multiple awards and records along the way. Chris runs the herd alongside his son, Dakoda.
He is a student of the industry. Chris has served as President of Whitetails of Oklahoma, and stays actively involved with state and national organizations working to advance the whitetail industry, improve deer management, and protect the ability of ranch owners to responsibly manage their herds and properties.
That experience shows in what’s being built here. In 2025 the ranch harvested an SCI record typical whitetail — the product of years of careful management and planning. But for Chris and the team, success isn’t one animal or one record. The goal is continuous improvement: better genetics, health, habitat, and herd quality every season, and a guest experience to match.

“Built by hunters” isn’t a tagline here.
It’s a family — and their whole record is on the wall.
